Self-Guided Tours: Empowering Homebuilder Sales Teams, Not Replacing Them
In an era driven by technological innovation, Zonda takes pride in being at the forefront of leveraging the latest advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), satellite imagery, and cloud technologies to provide the most comprehensive and accurate housing data in the industry. Our data science and research teams have been tirelessly working to enhance various aspects of our offerings, ensuring that our clients receive unparalleled insights and information.
Zonda has pioneered the use of AI technologies to track construction activity of Single-Family Residences across all markets. Building on this success, we extended the application of this technology to track condominium construction in Canada. The power of AI, coupled with satellite imagery and cloud technologies, enables remote tracking and rapid expansion to new areas. This breakthrough allows us to effortlessly scale our operations, with plans for expansion into the US on the horizon.
Recognizing the importance of data accuracy, especially in complex scenarios such as determining the vacant status of a land parcel, we have implemented AI solutions. Our advanced AI model independently validates the accuracy of parcel data, ensuring a high degree of precision. This technology reinforces our commitment to delivering reliable and accurate data to our clients.
Transforming the way we extract comparable projects and plans for pricing, our Data Science team has implemented a new AI-based approach. This not only provides comprehensive comps but also ranks their similarity to the subject property, offering a unique advantage. Currently integrated into the Zonda iPad app, this groundbreaking approach is set to enhance the Enterprise platform in 2024.
Our methodology for land and lot research has evolved from a traditional paper-based process to a sophisticated approach that utilizes machine learning and satellite intelligence. With a base layer of over 3.3 million individual parcel and land records, we can update large-scale development activity and construction statuses in near real-time. This ensures a granular and accurate representation of the ever-changing landscape of new home construction.
Through our connected dataset and satellite-based methodology, we’ve significantly accelerated our market expansion efforts. What used to be a multi-year process has been transformed into a matter of months. In the past nine months alone, we’ve added 17 new markets covering 47 counties, incorporating 650 new projects, 1,700 new subdivisions, and a staggering 260,000 new lots.
Zonda remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the realm of housing data. With a commitment to innovation and the relentless pursuit of accuracy, our Data Science and Research teams are shaping the future of real estate insights. As we look ahead, we’re excited about the possibilities that the latest technology holds, and we’re eager to continue providing our clients with the most reliable and comprehensive data in the industry.
