Role
Zonda is seeking a Vice President, Data Licensing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the sale of proprietary and licensed data with domain expertise to build sales strategies to capture new opportunities. Experience within the Real Estate industry along with knowledge of new home construction & residential development are highly valued but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for the sale of proprietary and licensed data
  • Work closely with prospects to get a clear understanding of their business needs and provide consultative solutions
  • Have a deep understanding of the flow of data around a Real Estate organization and who uses it for what
  • Demonstrate how the quality, reliability and timeliness of Zonda data will help improve processes and align with regulations
  • Provide insight to the benefits of our data to generate efficiencies
  • Comfortable interacting with C-level execs, expert with long selling cycles
  • Lead the enterprise sales engagement smoothly from beginning to end
  • Demonstrate market, product and technical expertise to identify client needs
  • Acquire and maintain a good understanding of your clients regulatory obligations and how Zonda can work in partnership to help meet them
  • Produce clear, concise solutions with an appropriate level of detail that identifies client needs, current workflows and proposed solutions
  • Establish and execute a pipeline target market strategy for achieving sales targets through the appropriate stages of the sales cycle within your target client base
  • Work closely with in house council to work through multi-year legal agreements
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience selling data solutions at the enterprise level where you have met or exceeded targets
  • Understanding of the customers technology stack, workflows, and internal structure
  • Ability to prospect and uncover new opportunities
  • Ability to demonstrate product and domain knowledge to build and maintain credibility with clients, identify gaps and recommend solutions
  • An understanding of our clients
  • Must be a proactive good listener
  • Consultative and solution sales skills
  • Competent grasp on the regulatory landscape
  • Understanding of the flow and use of real time and historical data around the new home development space
